Description

Furnace glass (aka cane glass) beads are clear glass canes, or rods of glass with one or many longitudinal colors, which are then encased in clear glass. The hot glass canes are pulled out to form linear and twisting stripe patterns, then cut in cross section into beads. These squarish beads are slightly matte finish, and measure approximately 11mm in width, with holes measuring 2mm, but sizes can vary. This listing is for a set of 4 beads. Unless you specify otherwise, I'll try to match them as closely as possible, though these are really consistent. In my research on the well-known craft site and many others, I found matching beads averaging about $1.21 per bead! Matching beads vary slightly in size and thickness. I do not think that these are American made, and they are not David Christensen, either at this fabulous price.
