Whitewood beads from the Philippines. This 16" strand strand contains 42 beads measuring about 10mm to 10.5mm. Natural White Wood (scientific name pittosporum pentandrum). White wood beads can come from a variety of woods native to the Philippines like white wood, natural wood and pangantun wood, each having a natural white color. The pure, bright white of the Bleached White wood beads is achieved from a pickling or vinegar solution.
