Redwood beads from the Philippines. This is a 16" strand of 4mm beads with 83 beads. Redwood beads (scientific name Cebucao) are not made from endangered trees of the same name. Rather, they come from different types of mahogany found in the Philippines. This Redwood or Cebucao is a natural red wood that can absorb skin oils and become more beautiful with wear.
