Palmwood beads from the Philippines. These unique beads measure 6.5-7mm, and there are 66 beads on the 16" strand. Palmwood, or Old Palmwood (aka Patikan, Caryota Cumingi) beads look like they've been painted, but their parallel dark brown/black markings are their natural wood grain.
