Painted lady pendant by Brenda Miller (now Brenda Hicks-Schalon) measuring 29mm x 47.2mm. This lovely light-haired lady has an iridescent moon and a butterfly behind her. Absolutely stunning! These pendants sell for $65 each on Brenda's website, and they are sold out! According to Brenda: The process is lengthy, first I cut the glass, top and bottom, to the desired size and shape. It is then fused together which takes about 1 1/2 hours. Then it is allowed to cool. Then comes the fun part, painting. After the painting is completed it goes into the kiln again for about 3 more hours and allowed to completely cool again. It's a long process but when they come out of the kiln it is always a surprise. This is a wonderful mini work of art with lots of personality and detail and this piece is signed and numbered.
