Description
This gorgeous creation is made by cutting, shaping and stacking layers of very expensive and very refractive dichroic and other glass together and then melting them together in a kiln at very high temperatures, then cooling them very slowly. The result is this fused glass one of a kind pendant measuring 48.5mm x 28mm. Artist unknown. The incredible shine is caused by using dichroic glass, which is a type of manufactured glass designed to change colors under different lighting conditions and viewing angles. The word dichroic comes from two Greek roots: “di” meaning two and “chroma” meaning colors.
