Description

15-16" strand of furnace glass beads of differing sizes. Random pick. These very economical and the price is fantastic for these, but they are not by David Christensen. Furnace glass (aka cane glass) beads are high quality glass canes, or rods of glass with one or many longitudinal colors, which are then encased in clear glass. The hot glass canes are pulled out to form linear and twisting stripe patterns, then cut in cross section into beads. Beads vary from 2mm - 8mm in width, with holes measuring 0.5mm - 4mm. Numerous hole sizes allow for stringing on different thicknesses of materials. Generally very expensive, though my prices are pretty amazing on these economical strands.
