Furnace glass (aka cane glass) beads are high quality glass canes, or rods of glass with one or many longitudinal colors, which are then encased in clear glass. The hot glass canes are pulled out to form linear and twisting stripe patterns, then cut in cross section into beads. Beads are approximately 4mm in width, with holes measuring 2mm. This listing is for one single cane bead in the pattern shown. In my research on the well-known craft site and many others, I found single matching beads averaging about $1.21 per bead! Matching beads vary slightly in size and thickness, and are random picks. These are US made, NOT cheap Chinese, but NOT David Christensen, either.
